The drone could be a Trojan Horse. It was programmed to gather intel on the Iranian nuclear program. It must have software and hardware for that purpose. After the Iranians caught it, they would have detected the drone's capability. They must have cracked the software. It is likely that the nuclear establishment in Iran would have been involved in this. Imagine if there were worms and viruses embedded in the drone's computers - they would have infected all the Iranian systems that came into contact with the drone by now. I say the drone was a Trojan Horse.

They should construct decoy drones with dumbed down technology that will push the Iranians in the wrong direction in terms of developing nukes. Make them appear to made of electronics and other tech that may help them advance their atomic program, but really sends them in the wrong direction, or even sets them up so we can eavesdrop on them once they have reversed engineered and put the phony technology in place. There are so many ways to mess with the Iranians minds, who knows this downed drone may even have been a set up, a decoy with messed up technology just to push them in the wrong direction. I so wish we would have invaded Iran instead of Iraq, we could have mopped up the whole mess in the Middle East by now.
